About the Event
Experience the thrill of reaching Southern California’s tallest peak, Mt. San Gorgonio, at 11,503 feet! Hike through pristine alpine forests, navigate rugged mountain trails, and camp under the stars near the summit area. This high-altitude adventure offers stunning vistas and a true wilderness backpacking experience in the San Bernardino Mountains. On Sunday morning, we’ll break camp, begin our descent, and return to Peninsula Center around 3:00 PM.
Departure & Return
Assemble: 7:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 Location: Parking lot near The Habit Burger, Peninsula Center
Return: Approximately 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 12, 2026
Transportation will be by personal cars.
