About the Event
Join us for a scenic and moderate backpacking trip into the beautiful Sespe Wilderness! We’ll begin at the Reyes Creek Trailhead (elevation 3,767 ft) and hike 5.6 miles to Beartrap Camp (elevation 5,140 ft). This trail offers great forest views, fresh mountain air, and a relaxing camp setting. On Sunday morning, we’ll hike back to the trailhead and return to Peninsula Center by around 3:00 PM.

Assemble: 7:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026 Location: Parking lot near The Habit Burger, Peninsula Center
Return: Approximately 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2026
Transportation will be by personal cars.
