About the Event
Our Fall backpacking trip will take us to the northern area of Anza Borrego State Park in the Coyote Creek basin. We'll start at Desert Gardens elevation (1000ft) and we will back pack approximately 7 miles past the Santa Catarina Springs through lower willows and onto Sheep Canyon Primitive Camp. On day two we will day hike some of the surrounding canyons. The trip will cover approximately TBD miles.
Transport: Via personal cars departing from The Habit Burger - Peninsula Center at 5A Sharp.
Return: return Approximately 2PM on Sunday, October 12th .
Equipment: Standard backpacking equipment for a 1 day hike.
Food: We will distribute food packages to be carried by Scout Patrols and Adult Patrols.
